Grafting branches

Grafting a branch is moving a branch from one parent branch to another.

In Controlled Layout mode, you can graft a branch just by dragging it on to a new parent branch.

When using the Assisted Layout mode, you can graft a branch just by dragging it on to a new parent branch, so long as the new parent is behind the previous parent, otherwise you will need to hold the Option key while dragging.

If you are using Free Layout, you can still graft branches by holding down the Option key while you drag the branch.

You can also graft branches using the Tool Palette.
